Leaning towards these but as above would like some feedback from fellow members first.

I'd leave the height as it is. It'll make naff all difference to the handling and will just spoil the ride.

I think lowering is about the look of the car, not whether it improves the ride/handling in any measurable way.
The few times this has been brought up on the forum, the usual answer is that it makes the ride overly firm and bouncy. Also it prevents the use of access height - the car will bottom out and then go in to extended mode instead. My own view is that if you're going to look to lower the car, do it using one of the electronic systems. Yes, they're more expensive but they allow you to fine tune the system and you can change heights at the touch of a button without getting wet/dirty in the wheel arches. Whatever system you use you'll need to factor in an alignment check - bear in mind that you'll probably only be able to adjust the toe of the wheels - being lowered will change the camber and it might be outside of the camber nut's ability to compensate. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

Ahh, right, didn't think of that but, IMO, the same applies. Horses for courses, I suppose. Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 Auto HSE Zambezi Silver |

Yes, I think the lowered 4x4 look is ridiculous but they say it takes all sorts to make a world... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
