A full tank of petrol gives me 230-250miles, however my journeys are always below 20mins (I guess running a cold engine so...) |

Full tank is around £80-100 depending on prices at pump |

My average is 10 mpg, do about 6 miles a day to and from work, went on a 120 mile round trip at the weekend and was averaging 19 mpg. 2006 4.2 Supercharged Buckingham blue

...on a near on 600 mile round trip A34/M40/M42/M6 - Bolton / returning via M1/M25/M3 kept it around the 70mph mark and averaged 19.7mpg overall.

i got the supercharged regardless of fuel cost as it wasn't getting used much and was just a weekend car. i didnt want the problems that come with short journey diesels as this would out way the fuel cost. i average about the 12 mpg mark.

I get 13mpg tops around town but I've got a heavy right foot. I was advised when I bought the car that you should always use premium unleaded too which adds a little extra to the cost.

I think these two pictures sum up the extremes of S/C fuel consumption pretty well. Both photos were taken at the end of a journey that started with a fill up and trip computer reset.
