2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey

Fault code can anyone help

my cruise control has started playing up one minute it works then it doesn't the fault code is

P0578 speed control multi function input A circuit is stuck

I have also heard a slight squeak as the wheel is being turned can anyone advise me thanks in advance "Remember its easier to say sorry than it is to get permission " especially off the Mrs !!

Most likely the wiring loom behind the airbag

If not, then the switch pack

In very limited cases, the clock spring loom can break

The wiring loom and switch pack are around £60 brand new, or the loom.on its own for £20 or so, and is where I would be starting
