Hi guys, I'm in a position to buy a RRS on a 59 reg, only problem is it has 88000 miles on the clock, it does have all the service history and paperwork which is all good, should I buy or steer clear? What should I check? Thanks guys.

What model is it? Pre facelift or facelift model? Engine?

It is a facelift version, I'm not putting a link on here as someone might jump in there before me, I just wondering if that mileage was good to go for or not that's all.

Private or trade a warranty is a must - there is no guarantee the generic issues have been rectified over the years of ownership

I've done a lot of research using this site and it's very helpful, this car does come with a six month warranty and asa far as I can tell its in exceptional condition, just a high reading on the miles, I know from previously owning a Discovery that they are good mechanically but wasn't sure in the case of a RRS

I'd try and get another 6 months out of them myself. I'll be extending mine come the end of my 12 month period.

As peachy has said, if you give the guys more info or a link they will be better positioned to give you sound advice.

Looks totally original - can not see nothing there that would concern me - cant tell 100% but the privacy glass looks a little suspect ( aftermarket ) but can't be that sure from photo's.

If I had a VIN number I could check that to see if it was factory fitted thumbsup:

I think it looks great. With 50k on it it would be about £5k more expensive.
Also depends how many miles you're likey to put on it- if youre a light user in a couple of years it will be down to average miles- if you do a lot it will depreciate heavily. Personally I'd go for it- it appears to have been well looked after and is lot if car for the money.
