2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Brakes - TDV6

Hi guys,

Are these all the parts I need to renew the brakes on my 2006 TDV6? Are the sensors compulsory?

Sag, you only need the sensors if you have had the Check Brake Pads warning come up.

No warnings yet Ian, will I be ok with just discs, pads & shoes in that case?

I haven't got round to it yet, will be after the holidays but will text you to let you know they are in LCFC. Receiver of threatening letters from Overfinch.

Disks pads and shoes will be fine. Sometimes the sensor breaks depending on how ham fisted the mechanic is getting it off the old pads.

Does anyone know what I should be paying to have discs/pads/shoes fitted all round?

A garage should do the whole lot in no more than 2-3 hours.

Takes me about 5 hours including replacing the EPB shoes as I take my time and have a few cups of tea in the process! Oh and I don't have a two post lift!

If your garage are unsure, then I have known people leave a copy of my brake bible on the drivers seat for the garage to read Bodsys Brake Bible
