really? this is my first mac so really don't know much about them just that i have a file in excel that i need to run |

Have you tried to open the file, you may have Apples numbers installed which would open an excel file. MY13.5 Autobiography, Santorini Black, Privacy Glass. Gone

yeah I've got numbers which does open the file but some things are different on my file but too much to try and change over |

Pages, numbers (and the rest of them) are utter garbage. Either user Open Office as muddy suggested or if you are only doing basic stuff use Microsoft office online which is a web based version of office that's free to use kind of like google docs but better. |

I use office 365. I allows installation on up to 5 computers and it's about 5quid per month. I have it on my mac, air and the same for my wife. Works great amd quite cheap. |

Yeah totally agree numbers will be fine for future use but the whole golf package I use is in excel and there's too much information to just start it all over again in numbers so really need excel to continue the work |
