rear passenger side injector removal guide / advice

hi
whilst carrying out other repairs over the weekend (tank fuel pump replacement, any questions please ask!)
i heard a hiss or air release on every turn of the engine. i traced it to the passenger side rear injector being loose and smoke/ fuel can be seen escaping while the car is running .
I'm hoping its the seals but my local land rover specialist says they are not available as separate parts.

has anybody any experience of replacing or locating the parts please?
best regards
mike

Hi,

great walk through of how to change injectors. Just a couple of questions regarding your process.

1) did you have to use a puller on any of the injectors you took out, or once the two bolts are out and surrounding pipes removed, does the injector pull out no problem?

2) you show replacement of bottom copper washer. Is there a top copper washer that needs replacing?

Cheers,

Disco_Mikey - do I have to bleed the fuel system after changing only one injector? If yes, can you please list the steps on how to do this or is there a guide that you know of on here? Thumbs Up RRS 2.7 HSE Stornoway Grey
