Definitive list of water intake places

Hi all,
Have read pretty much every topic i can find on water in the passenger footwell (which is on a LHD car)
The A pillars have had the plugs renewed and the patch placed over the remaining hole, the sun roof drainage tubes have been blasted with compressed air - small amount of black gunk came out.
The windscreen lower cowl is slightly warped and this is now temporarily covered with gaffer tape.

All was going well and the footwell was starting to dry out, even though we've had some intermittent rain. But yesterday I jumped on to drive to work, waiting at the lights on a slight downward slope, and water rushed out of the wiring channel, probably not more than ½ a litre was visible. So I'm back on to soaking the excess up with newspapers and trying to dry it out.

Are there any other places where water might get into the car?

cheers

I'm sure most reading this would say that you have done most of the checks known for water in the foot wells. I'm afraid I have nothing further to offer but hopefully someone who has had similar will see this and post soon. Several members are still on summer holidays at the present time.

Perhaps alter the title of this thread to something like "Water in footwells, any ideas?" It may get more members looking at it. John
