When you say it was a sticky caliper, was it the caliper piston that was seized. |

If I'm reading this correctly then the OP is saying that the pads are not evenly worn in that there are dirty great grooves at the outer and inner edges. The pictures certainly look that way.

The caliper piston was partially seized in that it was not releasing fully, which allowed pressure to remain on one side, which caused the extra wear to the pad as it was constantly rubbing. The outside pad was worn more than the inner one, although that had still worn more than in comparison to the other rear brake's pads. The wear was also more pronounced near the center of the disc than the outer - that's where the pad wore through to the metal - and I would have said approx 2mm of pad at the outer edge left compared to minus at the inner.

OK, found the source of the noise. Seems that the brake shoe pin clip has disintergrated letting the shoe scrape against the disc inner.

Advanced factors will send you a set out. Possibly even has that spring, but not sure as its a funny one. But they have the rest. |

Cable ties are to hold the springs back, to make the plates easier to fit |

They cant use Stainless, ISTR because they don't have the strength to keep in place.
