The engine warning light has come on,not flashing
looked in the handbook, says emmisions warning light.
What does that mean, could it be the lamder sensor or something like that ?

Not knowing what engine you have or how old it is makes it rather tricky to answer!

Best guess would be EGR valve failure if it's a diesel. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Needs to have the fault codes read - that will tell you what it's not happy about. Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

On a petrol, it's likely to be a lambda sensor, unless it's got LPG, then its a fuel trim issue Thumbs Up

There are 4 lambda sensors. Unless you have deep pockets, a diagnostic session is the way forward Thumbs Up

On a TDV6, it will be EGR valve/s.

Either replace them, or blank them and have them mapped out Thumbs Up
