Thanks for the many answers guys, glad all yours are okay Wink
Have looked at the sills a bit more closely, it would appear it is the centre part is coming unstuck as each end seems okay, it must be to do with slight curve from front to back of the sill, so need stronger tape to secure it in the centre.
Have looked in Halfords & Homebase near me without any luck, I am sure I can get some somewhere, will continue with the search when it is a bit cooler, it is a nightmare in some of these shops after leaving my nice cool car Cool Arrived - RRSport 2016 HSE SDV6 HSE

Mine are also fine after being on for 9 months.

If you do remove them make sure you clean off all the old adhesive with some sort of alcohol based product. To replace I'd recommend using the black sticky stuff they use to stick number plates on with.

Good luck. L319 D4 HSE

You ideally want the sticky stuff to be thin otherwise the sills will be raised and problems all over again. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Try using the 3M ones. We use them for the number plates and they are very good in our heat!

Looked at an old roll I have and these numbers were on it - 50971A-10MM x 10M / 4158-05 (6606). Other than the obvious length x width, the other numbers might be useful. Malaysia Boleh!

This is no joke, but when I was at University I worked in an adhesive tape factory, so I got to know the different types of tape and their applications and naturally, I got to take home a lot of free samples.

The best sticking double sided tape I ever had (and I wish I had stock piled some) was actually toupe tape. Yes, tape designed to hold on wigs, rugs, toupes, fake hair, call it what you like. It was awesome.

Considering it was designed to peel off your skin without pain or tearing scalp, it was excellent. Not sure where you could get it now...maybe a toupe shop???? L319 D4 HSE

Sorry guys I've been away for a while.

I'm sending some tape to Richad to restick the plates. If anyone else has this problem please let me know.

Rob i have the same problem on both the front drivers side and passengers side. But there is no reason to go through the hassle of sending me tape if you can just tell me which tape to buy I have no problem doing so.

On close inspection my sills are coming unstuck in the centre of the front set.
