United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Bonatti Grey

Use silicone sealant to stick them down. I use this to stick all sorts of things down. It takes a while to cure (all night), but works a treat. Becuase it is very flexible, things don't come loose with vibration, heat etc and it resists water and weather. If you need to remove the item, the silicone sealant can be 'peeled' off okay too.
On my VW van, I had chrome handle covers and chrome mirror caps. Both had the same sticky tape as Tasmod's sill covers. They all eventually failed, so I restuck them with clear silicone sealant (bathroom sealant) and it worked well. Using sealant is ideal for sticking things down on uneven surfaces too. I've just stuck a GPS magnetic base down on the dash of my Disco3 with it too. Matt

Mine has been confirmed Nov build with delivery Dec. They swapped the £500 deposit I had on the V6 to the V8 without any problems.

Well Tasmod kindly sent me some more double sided tape to restick my sill plates Smile
Have kept the two existing strips of tape on plates as they still seemed quite sticky and added two more strips in between the existing ones, so a total of four strips of double sided tape now.. Surprised
However just checked it again today and both the front ones appear to have come loose in the centre nearest to the inside of the car, so if you touch them, they sort of rattle.. Sad
I guess I will have to try the silicone sealent suggested by d3matt next.
Shame really especially as Tasmod went to all the trouble and expense of sending me more tape. Arrived - RRSport 2016 HSE SDV6 HSE

Well Tasmod has kindly replaced all my sills as it seemed my original ones were very slightly oversize, causing them to ride up the inner bodywork sill curve. Sad
Fitted the new ones, all seem to remain stuck so far. Smile

I had the same problem. Tasmod made me another set that were 3mm narrower, and they fit fine now.
