No need to lift the body to replace the diff but not an easy DIY. Rebuilt diffs are about a bag of sand exchange from Land Rover but some specialists can rebuild them for less. Good point about residual coating. I had an LR rebuilt one installed and trusted they would have dealt with the coating somehow.

Its a realef to know the its not a body off job lol. I should be able to get it rebuilt by someone i know, if it is the diff thats the problem.

IAWA removed, rebuilt and fitted front diff back to a forum members car (Tony) in 1 day for about £450 I think. I'm not Fat. RRS TDV6 HST. |
