and hw did you switched them off? was it by clearing all the fault cods? and one more important question, after fitting in the new battery, did the engine management light came up or it was only after switching off the other lights before it finally came cuz i want to be sure if its the same situation i am facing |

When I fitted the new battery the indicators started to flash, I turned them off on the dash before putting the key in the ignition, not sure if its relevant but after turning the key I made sure everything was turned off, heater seats etc, all the faults were still there when I started it including the check engine light. All the faults cleared quite quickly except the eml, this cleared after I stopped it and restarted it, hope this helps Tony |

Not sure if this will make a difference, I had no battery on the car for 2 days, you could try this and see if it works or search for the hard reset procedure |

I highly suspect you have a problem on the CANBUS somewhere. The only way you can deal with it is to start running over the wiring - a diagnostic tool can't help.

hey the technician found out that the main socket carrying the CAN signals on the Electronic parking brake control unit was totally out and when it was connected, everything came back to normal except the EML which did not still show up but they could communicate with all the control units as the engine could crank but do not start . i now feel relieved . i am going to stay with them throughout the workout today to keep you guys inform thanks alot |

The EPB module and wiring is a common place for CANBUS problems. Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK
