I see. Although petrol is beginning to go up again an possibly more exspensive tomrun in the near future. But I can seem to find anything under 12000 for a diesel and this has been the case sine last year. Maybe when the new plate comes out and weather warms up values may come down. But are you worried about bush failures and things because that's a big issue I've learnt

Australia 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Bonatti Grey

Hi, from down under.
Just adding to the 2005 rrs theme. I brought a 2005/6 Supercharged 4.2 about 6 months ago.
Its a great vehicle and a bit thirsty around town but good on the Highway/Freeway or as you might say Motorway.
Range for 80ltrs is approx. 400klms around town , 500klms Highway etc and 425klms Towing 1500kg . Lucky the price of Petrol has dropped below $1A per Ltr Smile
The only issue was within a week of picking it up it the ZF 6spd Auto went into limp home mode. It was under dealer warranty and they arranged to have it looked at a JRA service centre.
Here in Aust. we have had some bad experieces with the ZF's in Fords. People were told that the gearboxes were sealed and didn't need servicing. Surprised But Aussies do a lot of Klms and in hotter conditions. Zf recommend a service oil change @ 100,000Klms.
So the RRS had done about 150k and they changed the oil and filter and I have had no further problems.

Not really worried . There seem to be lots of RRS's and Discovery's here. The Discovery's do most of the Outback Stuff the RRS are whats termed 'a Toorak Tractor' Toorak being the long term upmarket suburb in Melbourne.
I rarely go there but last week I was in The Toorak Village car park and counted 9 new model RRS's out of 50 cars.
However , the RRS has the same offroad features as a Discovery' so if owners wanted they could go bush as well.

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HST Java Black

Just to stick my nose in, personally I don't think 14k is that bad for 70k and full LR service history. I think if its HSE, got all the top spec, well looked after, body work straight, no creaks, clunks or bangs then 14k with a bit of haggling is not bad. I'm not Fat. RRS TDV6 HST.
