Without all the details spec and price, i don't think any of us are in a position to answer your question. Do your homework first, plenty of information here on the site if you use the search button at the top of the page. Looking at some of the faults that occur with these vehicles, is enough to scare anyone off buying one. I would strongly recommend you get a warranty with any Land Rover product though.

The car has full service history from main dealer, 3 month warranty as per usual from dealer an is priced at 14000.

£14,000 seems a tad on the high side? I would have though more around the £12,000 mark max.

Where do you get that warranty from? Gone but not forgotten, 2005 RRS SC first edition, BMW 2010 Z4,TVR Tamora, TVR Cerb, MERC SL 55 AMG, E46 M3, Z4, Jag S type R, Skyline R33 GTR 640 bhp, Evo FQ 400, L322 RR, X5, Lotus Esprit V8 twin turbo, Lotus Elise 135r, Nissan Murano, Honda S2000, 911, Boxster s...and a few more |

I bought my 2005 rrs about 4 months ago private sale i paid £10,500 115,000km not miles bought it from ireland since owning iv put a new battery on and front bushes also had a hdc fault and turned out to be the transfer case ecu plugs needed cleaning spent £125 on a battary £80 on front polly bush kit and fitted my self had found help on here with regards to the hdc fault

They kind of did the haggling for me- I am famously rubbish at haggling and normally pay more than they wanted in the first place.

I didn't mean to suggest the warranty paid for all the faults I listed! Tail gate switch went before I got the warranty, they did pay for 60% of the intercooler and associated labour, wouldn't pay for the EGR blanking (although they would have paid to replace them)

I'm in a pretty similar position to you at the moment, had a FFRR previously and do about 9k miles per Year.
