Many years ago when I was a mere boy I worked at an Audi main dealer. We sold a new Cabriolet to a chap who was basically an angrier, heavier version of the worst traveller from the film Snatch.

Definitely a good result, but why, why, why do we have to experience this sort of problem with "trusted" traders, whether it's retailers, energy suppliers etc???? Nearly every purchase lately seems a problem just or about to happen |

If this is a main dealer, it's astonishing that not only have you had to jump through hoops to get the matter sorted (and well done), but they are also prepared to sacrifice their reputation not only with customers but also with JLR , by initially not telling the truth and then when being exposed, trying to stitch you up ref the loss. Carry on like that, in the manner of a dodgy car dealer, they could lose their dealership. Quite bizarre! |

There are so many stories of poor LR franchises that one wonders whether LR actually care! Presumably they feel there are enough people who never know or don't worry about what the dealer is doing to their car; those people will just keep buying in to the brand anyway. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
