Why does he want you to get all the materials and parts? Why not just take it to an Indy who will do the whole job for you? Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

Your indie should get all that stuff, they should look on auto data so they know all the right oil specifications. I've just had a big service and all 3 belts etc with my local guys. £700 all in for service, belts, pulleys. That was oil, filters, break fluid, coolant, pollen filter, fuel filter etc etc.even changed my front diff oil. |

If you save anything at all it'll be a couple of quid but if anything goes wrong with your parts etc it'll be down to you. I.e no warranty whereas if he does it and something go wrong pretty soon after then you'll have some come backs.

I don't think it will save much by the time you have done all the running around to get parts and oils. A good LR Indy will have or be able to get it easily and will be all set up to do the job. I don't know why he thinks you will get the parts cheaper? The RRS is an enthusiast's car and one can't run and RRS always looking to save a few p (in my opinion) Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6
