Love him or hate him, he does seem to have some influence.... he's seen (rightly or wrongly) as an authority figure for the car industry by people who don't really know any better.... personally, I think he's rather entertaining and I have nothing against the guy but I do think he could do with engaging his brain before he opens his fat mouth sometimes.

That would take the fun out of Top Gear, it would be as boring as 5th gear!

They use Aygos for that didn't they? Looked good fun that... why not buy 9 Aygos instead of the SC? You could fit them all in the boot of your HSE.

Talking of 5th gear - we missed last nights show which featured the new TT - I was not very popular with mrs MDP for not recording it [ her 3.2v6 q is due sept/oct ] Crying or Very sad

Did anyone see it & did it get a good review? I have seen the website/review - appears they loved it!

Funny you should mention that... my Sky+ was set to record it, but it failed due to a "technical fault"... only found this out after the event, so not happy. They used to repeat it again later in the week, but I couldn't find it anywhere in the Sky guide.

The Fifth Gear web site has the report though:

VA, bought missus an Ago BLACK to help with her parking "issues" at Uni she will be starting in Oct. Great little runaround, cheap as chips to buy & run and seems to do mid 50s real world mpg. Quire nippy round town. Wouldn't like to play football with it, might have to understand the offside rule. Life's too short!

5th gear was pretty boring, TT looks like the last one, saw a S Max with Hendie & 6 pensioners in it and an X5 diesel racing a dirt bike Bakkar type thing, almost wiping out the rider at the end. Wife was dissapointed Needell did't get killed in the X5

Derek

PS recorded fine via Sky+

Hmm... don't know. Can you pick up BBC stations as they are aired? You're not paying a license fee are you....

It might be a case of contacting your Sat provider and getting the channels you want. The BBC licence fee is worth it for Top Gear alone! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Looks like a simple payment to your provider will unlock the wonders of the BBC! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
