Hi to all, I have recently noticed that when I've done a few miles to town or wherever the rrs realy smells of burning tar. I have no oil leaks or fluid leaks but cannot find the answer, the brakes and hand brake do not bind either. Any ideas on this one please 2007, HSE, Cairnes Blue, Factory tints, Love it !!! |

I bought my car in April this year and about a week ago, when we first got the colder weather I had this smell for the first time. I was close to panicking at first and thought my car was on fire but the smell subsided after 15 minutes or so and I guessed it was burning off some deposits after not having been used for a long time. |

Thanks for the reply folks, the FBH has been working fine during the cold spell but I suppose it could still be the culprit. Don't think it was tarmacking taking place as it was midnight when I smelt it in our carport....... Oh and we live next to the woods.. 2007, HSE, Cairnes Blue, Factory tints, Love it !!! |
