Always happened on mine - I leaned on it to make the connection ( tailgate close ) & then use the keyfob to lock & unlock - issue fixed

Just got it back and spent about 5 min's trying to get it to shut (or open) but no joy.

Ok so the indy said that they could look at it but would advise that they too might have to damage the rear panel.

Stealers are good at doing it the longest way round = most expensive. I only get a dealer to service the car to keep its history, learnt the hard way that anything else can be done better by myself. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

New Battery @ £325, old battery was tested as been ok, they just advise it needed changing!!!!!

Pads are easy enough to do yourself (see my link in my sig) and battery can be had cheaper than that, even for the LR gel battery (which is the best really). Bodsys Brake Bible

Ah stealers Huh. I got a new battery from Mercedes when I sent my E Class in and it cost 4 and a half times more than any other high end battery available anywhere else. When I queried them as to why it was so Expensive they said the current it releases is suitable for only MB vehicles. Needless to say I won't be getting any more batteries through my dealer .... |
