Newbie with sc issue

Have 2006 4.2 supercharged sport. Under hard-ish throttle and only when the engine Is warm there is a rattle/tapping coming from the engine. Sounds mechanical like something hitting something or possibly breaking up? Doesn't make the noise when in neutral and being revved, just when accelerating and around 3-4rpm. Sounds horrific....any ideas?
