Egr blanking question

Hi guys what's the best egr blanking kit to buy? I've seen two types a full blanking kit or just the two plates ? What's the best to go with

The best is the two plates, as if they bring the EGR test in to the MOT test then they can't see that the car has been blanked just with the plates.
The removal of the pipes is just to easy to see that the car is blanked..

Yeah, as above.

Mine has been blanked, and the old pipes just put back on so visually it looks like nothing has changed! 2006 HSE for Sale - £7,499 (Manchester)

Do you blank it at the top where the pipes fit on to the air intake, also do you still remove the butterfly flap. Done a complete removal on my D3 but need to understand this one a little more Embarassed Thumbs Up

Back again Embarassed but I need to ask this question, if blanked at the top with butterfly removed, does this or why does this show on the dash if the EGR are still in place and connected, is it simply because they can no longer operate correctly ?? Bow down

I had my garage do it for me, I just supplied the blanking kit, and also printed off the guide so that they were 100% sure of it! 2006 HSE for Sale - £7,499 (Manchester)
