Picked up my new 2.7HSE RRS two weeks ago.

Last week, suspension fault indicator light came on. Asked me to slow down to under 30 MPH. Pulled over and removed the key, waited 10 mins and restarted. All OK.

It happened again a few days later. Now at a Dealer being looked into.

Any ideas whats going on. Thanks

By the way, number plate is BO55 XXX on black on black RRS - looks awesome - when it's on the road !!

Quite a few threads floating around on this one BO55. From memory, either a software upgrade issue or compressor upgrade (covered under an LR service bulletin). RRS TDV6 Bluetooth, VR, Roof

BO55 - some of us on here believe it best not to disclose your numberplate on the internet - Unfortunately theres the criminal fraternity out there that find the internet an easy tool to source correct numberplates for like vehicles for cloning etc etc.....

Picked up RRS yesterday and went on a 400 mile round trip, on Business.

All OK. Dealer replaced 2 of the sensors.

Me too!

I kept getting sensor fault and the car parking on the skew. Its only 2 weeks old!

They said it had 2 faulty sensors - and there were none available.

Waited 1 week and they took them off the porduction line.

Its back, and it parks (standard and access height) 1/2 inch higher on the driver side, consistently. Im also sure that standard height is sitting higer than it should (Im only small!) real pain to get in and out.

Anyway told the dealer, and he said thats normal they dont all sit level..... what nonsense how can you have a car costing £47k that sits wonky..

phoned LR, and they seem to think there is another software update coming out??? believe it when I see it.


..anyone else got any views on this rather bizare situation, .. ensuring the car sits level seems fundamental to me and simply a matter of correct professional calibration?

Same here - my RRS 2.7 HSE (now 3 weeks old) usually looks slightly lop-sided on the drive in standard mode and now often gives the 'suspension fault' warning on going to access mode.

Seems to be a lot of duff sensors out there!

I find this all rather odd.
I know there were problems with faulty sensors on some of the first cars, but mine's only a month or so old. They must have got hold of another faulty batch (or are using up some of the old ones).

As far as the ride height after the sensors are changed, yes, mine sits higher than it's supposed to as well. It needs "Calibrating" which is an hour and a half job (I haven't had mine done). What I can't understand is why don't they automatically calibrate them after having new sensors fitted?
