Pressure washing any engine bay is not a good idea these days, too many electronics that can be damaged by water especially at high pressure.
Hopefully it will dry out on it's own, if not keep your fingers crossed that your dealer is sympathetic.

Not what you want to hear, sportman, but as Cliff says - not a good idea to pressure wash the engine bay Shocked In your climate, it should all dry out nicely unless there's been any physical damage to any of the electronics. Good luck Neutral

Agree Sportman, the RRS should be able to deal with a moderate amount of under bonnet water ingress, it is after all an off road vehicle as well, i know that you have to be very careful when pressure washing under the bonnets of modern cars, but come on you would expect the RRS to be able to handle it.

England 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Java Black

Agree with Envoy that it should be able to handle moderate water ingress - as you say sportman it is after all designed for off-road use / crossing water - but that is quite different to opening the lid and jet blasting / steam cleaning the insides. I can't think of many off road conditions that involve pressure hoses and steam cleaning, apart from maybe an erupting geyser - which no doubt LR would say was in breach of warranty!

Having said this, it's not uncommon for certain dealers (I can think of an unnamed BMW dealer in particular) to give the insides a quick blast with the jet hose post-service.

Glad it worked out for the best Sportman.
