2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Floor Mat Anchors

Hi guys - just want to query something regarding anchoring the floor mats to the footwell.

When I got my 1st RRS, it had floor anchors fitted and when I bought some new mats, they slotted straight in and secured into place.

Now my new car hasn't got any and the mats are sliding around the place.

I have got the anchors, but there is no fixing point for them in the footwell.

My question is - Does the carpet need to be cut or drilled to attach these? Or do they just screw in?

I did a search and it has been bought up a few between 2006-2008 but no solid answer, so hopefully this will help someone else too!

2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Sumatra Black

The anchors are normally supplied with the mats, and you screw them into the carpet MY2007 RRS TDV8 Black - tinted glass - side steps- stormer grille - 20" diamond cut alloys - alpaca leather - TV/DVD pack - some blingy chrome bits & bob's

The anchors will just screw into the carpet, helps if you make a small hole first

My Car only has one location peg, not two. It's down to MY In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

Thanks guys - I thought as much but wanted to double check there was no specific location under the carpet.

SRE - I think they changed to a single locator pin from MY08. LCFC. Receiver of threatening letters from Overfinch.
