Thanks Dave, is 18-19 MPG about right for driving B roads and around town then?

If you have the "death hesitation" then it's unlikely that your car is mapped. Apart from going better and increased mpg, the most noticeable part of the remap on my two V6's, was that there was no delay in applying throttle and car responding instantly. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

I always thought mine had been mapped as it always felt quite quick. However, had a full service recently and it no longer feels 'quite quick'. I may have just got used to it I suppose |

This is power/torque measured at the wheels, before and after it's map

Looks like a good map it's making more power from the off as opposed to later in the Rev range where it is of less use for our cars. It's a shame for the initial loss of power through the box other wise those lines would have looked great.

The initial loss is due to the way the gearbox behaves at full throttle. It tries to kickdown from 4th even though the kickdown switch isn't activated.
