You could get a spare key from the internet. They're only a few quid.

The electrics should be hidden in the bumper - accessed by removing cover above tow bar

there is a way without a key and with no damage to any part of the car or the bar , most on here should know how but are not saying ! I put mine when needed with out a key or green handle |

Ok so there seems to be what i think is an allen key bolt on the other side of barrel but my allen keys wont fit. Its either rounded off or a different head like some kind of security head bolt? Am i going in the right direction? |

No, buy a complete replacement lock from a dealer (was about £13). Once the new lock and key is in your hand it will become abundantly clear how to remove and replace the old lock whilst the bar is still fixed to the vehicle.
