Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 S Zermatt Silver
2 Questions (Brake Dust & Belt Chime)

The massive brakes on the RRS are brilliant but produce large amounts of dust.
Does anyone else have problems with Brake Dust?
I like the car to look clean so figured I'd get the wheels painted the same as the bodywork (Corris Grey)
At least it will blend in and shouldn't show the dust so much.

Also, in my 2010 model, I could get rid of that annoying seat belt chime by clicking in/out about 9 times and it stopped that chime.
Tried it on the 2014, but didn't work. Has anyone figured out how to stop the noise?

Also with the door open chimes?

Love the car. 2014 SDV6 HSE, Panoramic Roof, 825w sound, Surround Cameras
Gone: MY10, TDV6 Sport, Zermatt Silver, Sunroof, 18" Rally alloys.

Hi NTBeyond

Try 20 times. When I mentioned getting rid of chimes to my dealer using the 9 times trick he mumbled something about 20. Don't know if he was kidding or trying to put me off. Haven't got round to trying yet. Let's know how you get on.

Brake dust is annoying but I certainly wouldn't entertain painting wheels Corris - would make it look like it came from an army surplus store!!

Don't know about door chimes

Try it with the engine running, been reported that this helped with D4 2014 models whereas the earlier versions needed only the ignition on.

As for the door chimes, I'm afraid no way to turn that one off at the moment. Bodsys Brake Bible

This is supposed to be pretty much bullet proof and will keep the brake dust and maintenance down...

a whole lot easier than a re spray...
