Based on what the Police say tonight tomorrow they'll lay out your legal position and options, if there are any. When did the Police take the car? You done anything since then and now about it? If not why not? Is the cash you paid with OK?? |

Fake coppers probably took your car, if you go to the house he will probably have moved on sounds like a well planed scam to me |

The police took the car away last Wednesday. I made call to the number shown on the police name card. The told me its handling by the london police. i asked for a reference number, they gave it to me but also said that's only their number and not too sure if it's the case number. i called up one of the officer and she also told me the same thing that the case is dealing by the london police. I am absolutely devastated, that's why I post on the forum and seek help and advise. |

I didn't take any pic of the paper work. The took all the original and I thought I must give it to them if I want this person to be caught. |

As a priority you need to go to your local Police Office and speak to someone there about this. If the car has been seized by the Police, a check on the Police National Computer will show where it is and who's dealing with the case (along with contact details) and you will be able to contact them for more information. Any Police Officer can carry out this check.
