My car was purchased with a loan. The car had an HPI marker against it however Barclays lifted the marker once the garage/myself got in touch with them. (They marked the car as it was their loan)

Why are they not getting information from you? Are you not going to the police? |

Something doesn't add up here, the police should never take any possession from anyone, cloned or not, without giving a receipt and/or some paperwork stating reason for taking it |

I am not too sure should I go to the local police station. I called up the police officer who took the car away and he said this is a theft case belongs to the Metro Police in London and not too sure if they will contact me or not. Then I came to a question: Theft case? It surely is a scam for me |

I am not too sure if I should go to the seller house. Firstly, he might have moved already. Secondly, if they are a big scam group, it might be abit dangerous to do this |

Well, the police did certainly took my car away. The did not leave any paper work nor asked me to sign anything. The didn't even wait for the toll, one officer just jumped into the car and drove off |
