That may be true but it's not really the point. Most items are made in China these days. The important fact is whether or not they are made to the exacting quality standards required by reputable companies that purchase them and that they comply with any of the regulations in the county they are being sold in. That's where you lose out by buying cheap copies, you don't know if they have had any safety testing or if they meet the standards & laws of your country. Therefore, you can't be sure they are safe to put on your car!

As for your point about them costing a fraction of retail price to manufacture.. Ummm, well No Sh t Sherlock That's hardly front page news! Hmmmm, I wonder if Nike Trainers or Sony Music Systems or Apple iPads are any different? I think not. That's just life in a commercial world. Profit isn't a dirty word you know!
