Wouldn’t get remap straight away. I drove mine 18m before taking the plunge. Get the feel of your V8 in regular mode so you understand what remap does.

For me, overtaking is now a doodle. Surprised a couple of audis one the way home from LRO. put your foot down in the midrange and you get propelled forward with the thundering sound of the V8 int he background. love it.
But most surprising of all is the mpg. I clocked 200 miles and I’m reading 25.4mpg! granted that’s 95% motorway miles but it was with frequent, and I mean frequent bursts of acceleration between 70-90mph. With that sort of mway driving i'd average 21mpg. I usually get 300 miles out of my tank for my style of driving. Let see what I get with this.

shame the map doesn't do much when taking off at the lights Sad 07 TDV8 + BAS map

That can easily be resolved, when you know the lights are going to change, put it in sports mode 1st gear, hold your foot on the brake, then put your foot on the accelerator pedel, press it till it rises to nearly 3000 rpm, take your foot off the brake quickly, and be prepared to be propelled forward. Thumbs Up Don't forget to change up the gears manually though after take off. Wink Probably not advised to do this at every set of lights though.
