I have just picked up my first V8 does the remap make a lot of deference please ??

Wouldn’t get remap straight away. I drove mine 18m before taking the plunge. Get the feel of your V8 in regular mode so you understand what remap does.

That can easily be resolved, when you know the lights are going to change, put it in sports mode 1st gear, hold your foot on the brake, then put your foot on the accelerator pedel, press it till it rises to nearly 3000 rpm, take your foot off the brake quickly, and be prepared to be propelled forward. Don't forget to change up the gears manually though after take off. Probably not advised to do this at every set of lights though. |

All of them in forward motion, but obviously not in reverse. |

try putting it in "sand" setting as well
