Yes, but much of what makes the SVR what it is compared to an Autobiography its lightness. Solar attenuating glass and remote heat/cool is still avaialble too.

SVR comes from the Special Vehicle Operations division, and part of their remit is to provide bespoke personalisation.

So Phil, what colour interior are you going for? I know you said black/black but you hinted you were in discussion for something else. I take your point that black/lunar might look like mis-matched interiors.

Surely if the Special Vehicle Operations division has the ability to provide bespoke personalisation you should have the choice to make your SVR unique with your own colour choices for interior and exterior like other manufactures of top end vehicles do .

I can see we're in for a surprise, orange leather like a Lambo?? Other manufacturers do offer personalisation departments. On various factory visits I've been on, they've proudly displayed their customisation lounges, all big sofas and "lifestyle" images on the walls. In truth, it's mainly a case of plundering the long options lists and taking as much money off the customer without them realising as you can. I know (though have no experience of) that companies like Rolls Royce will do pretty much anything you want but they are not in the business of turning out a car every 97 seconds as they were in Solihull when I visited. I know, incidentally, of one Ferrari buyer who had a highly customised car, didn't like it when it arrived and walked away from a £50k deposit leaving the dealer to work out how to sell it on. It will be interesting to see what customisation is offered but it always seems to come at a price and increased lead time. Porsche, for example, offer "Paint to Sample" which is not so expensive but there are build periods when, for whatever reason, it is not available. I'm probably happy enough with black/black and black/cirrus but it would have been good to have a wider choice of interior options. Mark SVR in Estoril Blue |

Well, that's my dealer deposit paid, and apparently they've notified HQ also.
