According to my dealer, the SVR is not yet orderable on the LR system but my dealer has nevertheless asked for and received my spec. For those of you who are also specifying an SVR, this is what I have gone for...

Estoril Blue
Body coloured sliding panoramic roof
21 inch wheels (standard)
5 year service pack

Ebony/Cirrus interior
Cirrus Alston headlining
60/40 rear seats (standard)
Carbon fibre interior finishers
Carbon fibre steering wheel bezel
Carbon fibre engine cover

Adaptive xenons
Auto dimming exterior mirrors
Space saver spare wheel
Painted body side mouldings
Surround cameras
Front centre console cooler
Extra large washer bottle
Loadspace rails
Meridian audio upgrade
Park Assist + 360 degree park sensors
Blind spot monitoring, wade sensing, reverse traffic detection
Road Sign recognition

InControl Wi-Fi
InControl Apps

I've excluded other dealer-fit accessories which I can think about nearer the time.

Comments of course welcome. This comes in at between £104k and £105k.

I'm not banking on getting much of a discount... Maybe a free pen... Rolling with laughter Mark

My understanding is that InControl Secure - basically vehicle tracking - is standard on MY 2015 (or maybe 2015.5) cars which is why the original InControl package has been split. InControl Wi-Fi would be interesting if it enabled better performance compared to 4G on the phone - a more powerful transmitter or better aerials but if it's little more than the equivalent of an iPhone personal hot-spot, there's little point it.

The problem as ever is that the hardware is frozen in time at manufacture and overtime, it becomes old tech and of little use.

I admire your deep excursions into the options list; you're obviously not worried about depreciation!

You mention new options, any idea what they are? Mark

Yes I assume HUD and the stereoscopic vision for tracking obstacles (and automatic braking), which have appeared on the new Jaguar XE, will come to the RRS soon.

This will bring RRS closer to the Volvo XC90 and Mercedes ML in terms of active safety and convenience tech.

No point for a vehicle of the RRS class not to offer such technologies when they are already developed in the JLR range...

HUD is listed already (market specific) so will only be a matter of time.

Hi Sally, what interior are you going for? I have a black roof liner in my Evoque and think it's fine, so I may yet make a change to my seat colours and roof liner. Mark

The interior will be Ebony/Cirrus.

I had both the evoque and sport with black roof lining. Far more practical for my grubby little fingers when at the horse! Im dreading the cirrus steering wheel airbag!

Dave, has anyone approached SVO about a black/lunar seat combo instead of black/cirrus. That combo is available on the base car and I think the darker grey is much more practical. Mark

It's not a combination that Design decided upon but I see your point Mark. However, I don't see any reason why anyone can't approach our Bespoke division within SVO if they really wanted it.
I have already put a number of customers in touch with the team in order to ensure we build exactly what they want so that's always an option if people want to pm me.

To be honest, my master spec car has Ebony/Ebony and I love it to bits. I don't think it's that dark inside but its all personal of course.

Never understood this whole "the designers don't like it so you can't have it" reasoning. Excuse me, but if someone is paying £100k++ for a car, it's up to them what colour scheme they have. It should be a case of "certainly sir, I'll add that to your order".

Of course, by allowing people to make it "bespoke" they get to charge a premium for something that is available on lower models for no charge. Cynical? Me?

(This is a general rant, DaveW, not a dig at you Thumbs Up ) 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
