I have a 2010 Gulfie, the only things that get changed/upgraded on most high end cars are - More powerful AC to cope with 50c days, tinting, no heated seats, no heated steering wheels and tougher air filters. Although these days the cars seem to come with everything the same as europrean cars. |

As PaulR said Gulf spec is largely to do with the mechanicals to help the car operate better in the extreme heat.

Paul, Guy, Thanks for the replies. "Gulfie" That's what I gotta call it then, I hate calling it a "Rangie" Started calling it "the truck" but as the Americans I work with keep pointing out "It ain't no truck, it's a soccer mom's SUV!!!"
