Mine did the same - ( hoped it would go away ) ended up braking a clip - FIX - replace clip - clean & adjust 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

I paid someone - because the clip had come off I was left with a constant screeching - but total costs was about £115 including new genuine clips - both sides was replaced - cleaned & adjusted - I'm pretty sure there's a how to in the forum guides 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Sorry to hijack, mine does exactly this, it comes on and off ok (has never seized on) but when plugged in it came back with an error code for the park brake module.
