Nav TV Xbox poor quality

Has anyone fitted the Nav TV module to there touch screen? I get horizontal running lines a bit like waves. It's only slight but still there. This is on both the DVD and TV inputs. Any ideas?

Also I've connected my sons xbox 360 and the Lower 20mm of the screen is blurred and showing a Part of the Xbox home page even when playing a game.. I've a feeling it may be a resolution problem? Strange thing is it's fine when playing a DVD? Any ideas on how to get the res right when playing games?

Many thanks Smile

I'm a nav tv installer never had that problem
If you think it's a ground loop interference on video picture you can get a filter from any security camera firm
They do work I built a covert RR Sport for military use had a lot of video interference problems caused by so much kit in the vehicle those filters worked a treat

Hi mate thanks for the reply.. Don't suppose you have a link to the filter do you? Strange thing is, I tried his ps3 on it and it was fine.. I rang Nav TV and he mentioned fitting a resistor to the AV line in? Wasn't sure what he meant tho..

Regards

What I will do is speak to Julian for you tomorrow and post a reply
What I would suggest is you need some definates to work from
1 off the best sources for audio or video of quality is an iphone or iPod for test purposes but you need the genuine
Apple lead to get a picture out
The filter is from a shop that does CCTV equipment £10.00 they suffer interference because of there long cable runs
You may end up needing a video amp
The factory screen likes a strong PAL signal

Spoke to Julian for you that mode was only for a particular Alpine unit no longer available
So for now you need a proven source remember once you have the iPod lead it will plug into any tv etc with a video in
Also PAL NTSC switching is in iPod menu
