The 3.0 cannot be mapped via the diagnostic port.

Pretty sure the 3.0 TDV6 can be done through the port. It's just the 2012 onwards SDV6 which can't be done through the port. 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography

Ive just had mine chipped by North Wales Tuning, they are national I think?, the mobile white van arrived at my work last week, ECU taken out, job done in a couple of hours, just been to Abersoch for the weekend and I have to say, its the best mod for the money, feels like driving a different car, so much more power, lot less accelerator travel and the MPG difference is huge, I purchased my car 25 months ago (RRS 2012 HSE 3.0 V6) and now feel rather off I left it this long, at the time I was a sceptic and also listened to the tripe about possible warranty issues, after all the car was brand new.

I can't talk for others but I had mine done (2011 RRS 3.0 V6 HSE) about 1k miles ago and certainly no problem with the vehicle as of this time.

My own gearbox is having issues after its remap. Issues are caused by the box not having the oil changed early enough. Should be done every 75k miles, and not 150k as Land Rover state... Mine wasn't done until 115k. Done too late, and the damage had already been done That said, my 2.7 is currently running 260-ish bhp |

What extra mpg do you reckon you are getting? |

The car is mostly driven by my wife (albeit I gave it a couple of good blasts after the remap) and she is saying that she is now getting well over 400 miles to a tank - that being a 50 / 50 mix of town and dual carriage way driving. Leasky. |

My new 2010 3.0v6 HSE did its first reasonable trip (130 mile round trip) and I got 39.6mpg, was well pleased, albeit mainly motorway miles with a few 60mph restrictions on M5 & M6.

If you are really getting that mpg from a 3.0 TDV then don't bother with a remap that is 12 mpg better than my best at a constant 70-75 mph over a 300 mile trip in France.
