If you are really getting that mpg from a 3.0 TDV then don't bother with a remap that is 12 mpg better than my best at a constant 70-75 mph over a 300 mile trip in France.

I don't over rev or over brake in fact stay as close to or under 2000 rpm and yet I average 22-25mpg. I would dearly love to average 30 mpg.

Any advice from anyone much appreciated.

I'd love to average 25 real mpg Nigel! 20-25 more like. Nothing wrong with it according to LR or Indy. Not driven like I've nicked it either!! 2011 3.0 TDV6. MAP sensor was clean on checking Sad 3.0 SDV6 HSE L494

I've not had mine re-mapped and I'm currently getting approximately 490 miles from one tank (which I'm extremely pleased with). Albeit there's not too much town driving. I don't drive it like I stole it nor do I drive it like Miss Daisy.
Would a re-map actually increase this??? Can you re-map the SDV6? Currently driving:
MY 2015 RRS SDV6 Dynamic Fuji White
Mini Cooper S

Gone:
MY13 RR Evoque Dynamic Black
MY12 RRS SDV6 HSE Luxury Baltic Blue
2012 Land Rover Freelander2 2.2 TD4 XS Fuji White
2012 BMW 320d Sport Arctic White
2009 Mazda RX8 R3 Grey
2005 BMW 523i SE Grey

Yes you can remap a SDV6, but, your ecu has to come out and opened up. So its what they call a bench map. Mpg increase, possibly, but not much.

Cheers Ady

Not too worried about getting more mpg. However if I could increase the power and maintain the current mpg I would be very interested in re-mapping. Currently driving:

I wouldn't mind a drive of a remapped SDV6 to compare. Not sure if there are any mappers up there in Scotland, but check out our site sponsors, Alive tuning and Bell autos. Both reputable companies and well respected on here. Keep us posted. Thumbs Up
