Squeaking Noise from RRSport 2.7

My range rover has started squeaking loudly whilst idling and at speeds. Can anyone shed some light on this? With the bonnet up and engine on it sounds like it is coming from the belts at the front of the engine. Less than 4 weeks ago it had a cambelt and timing chains changed.

I've done a video so you can hear the kind of noise that is going on:

Thanks

I had the same on my old rrs, I changed all the pulley tensioners as it was bearing in one of them so I just decided to change them and the pulleys at the same time, cured the noise. Thumbs Up

Thanks for the reply slim, hopefully shouldn't be too costly to fix then!

Soooo.....No such luck it would seem.

They changed the puller tensioner and the noise remained.
They advised me that the ACE Pump was what was causing the noise. One of the cables had split off the pump, and drained the hydrolic fluid, causing the pump to run unlubricated, and knackering the pump.

I've had a new ACE Pump, a new fan, new fluid, and a couple of other bits done.
All in it came to £1500. With only £120 labour. £800 of that was the ACE Pump.

Big Cry Sad

My advice to anyone seeing the red suspension light on the dash is don't drive it, and get it looked at immediately.

Unfortunately my problems continue!

It worked fine for a few days, then the warning light reappeared.

I took it back to the garage and they read the codes. Unfortunately they don't know what to do from here. Short of taking it to a Land Rover dealer neither do I!

The fault codes I am getting are apparently all related to drive height, and they are:

B0002 - Drivers Front Air Control
U0434 Invalid Data recieved from Dynamic Response Module
U0132 Lost Comms Ride Level Control Module
U0182 Lost Comms Front Light Control Module
U0182 Lost Comms Park Assist Control Module
P0578 Speed Con Multi Function trip Airbag (I believe this to be a seperate issue, passanger seat moved forward causing airbag light to trip)

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Going on those fault codes, you will probably need it hooked upto an LR specific code reader, and read the faults in every module Thumbs Up
