Rang them but they were busy asked me to call back but I've got it booked in with a landrover specialist in oxton now which is a lot closer to me but if they seem like muppets ile be driving strait back out and over to derby lol fingers crossed Simon AKA TADDY

so its been into the land rover specialist and there saying the diff is fooked! the clicking noise is apparently the diff trying to configure itself

which makes me think that my mechanic who i used for the service has used the wrong oil!!! as those who have seen my other thread will know that he rang me while doing the service to tell me he'd just realised that it needed a different oil in the back diff to the front diff which he hadn't realised at first but would get the "special" oil direct from land rover to be sure it was done rite. its just WAY to coincidental that i get that call and then on way home from service this happens! off to say the least

anyone recommend a forum trader for a diff?  Simon AKA TADDY
