This really needs reporting to the Stolen a Vehicle Unit in the Force area.
With the date stickers and other parts on the vehicle you will be able to say that in all probability they are from the same car. The seller will have to answer a few questions etc.

As has already been said, it won't take Poirot to work this one out

Also his fingerprints might still be on the bodywork of your car, which might help you catch the Censored . 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography Cool

Um, the seller could actually have a legitimate reason to have/sell the parts.

Let's not lynch him just yet...get plod involved and point them in his direction. At the very least they can seize stuff and prevent it being sold on. If he is a crook then someone else won't be giving him money for stolen stuff too. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I see on the sellers feedback that one positive feedback was from Top Outdoor Tool.....which sells torches! Probably just a coincidence.

Absolute joke this can be done.
Just looked at mine and can see why its so easy.
A quick way of making things a little more difficult I've just looped some zip ties / cable ties around the lugs/clips on the top of front grill to stop them being release (cant be seen with bonnet closed)

That's more our way ady.

So does this just effect new shape lights as I've not had chance to check how my pre facelift lifts secure.

Good idea on the ties PWW Thumbs Up

I have been thinking overnight and considering drilling and self tapping screws to hold grille that could only be removed by opening bonnet - this would also help secure lights Confused

I am also thinking etched vin number on face of lights as used on caravan windows in corner say so Censored see it before they damsge vehicle removing them and harder to file off Twisted Evil

Anyone know how to get etching done - auto glass companies used to do this but not sure if thay still do Question Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!
