Did green flag plug it in to get any fault codes or just recover you? |

they plugged in but there code reader was playing up apparently and wouldn't connect. Simon AKA TADDY

EGR i could live with i was thinking it mite be the actuators seizing but its only done 47000 mile Simon AKA TADDY

seizing actuator could possibly be reset with ignition

Probably the actuator rods, but they can be lubed/free'd off.

rite I've just been out to have a look and can't see any oil or such in the engine bay decided to start it for first time since getting home and the bloody thing starts and drives just fine with no warning lights loss of power or anything! bloody car lol tho guessing what ever it is will probably do it again soon dose this narrow it down to what it could be?

Sounds exactly like a sticky actuator rod sticking on overboost, and shutting down |

ok got the car back according to land rover it was a throttle peddle issue and may not happen again. they've said there next step would be to perform tests on all the electrical components which would cost a few hours labour or i can have it back and see how i go which i opted for. dose this sound like it could be rite or are they fobbing me off and my actuators are about to give up? lol

replace the fuel filter. most workshops ignore the fuel filter when the service the rrs. frozen diesel over time could leave residue of water in the fuel tank. the water in diesel sensor might trip and you get this. as for the afs issue, its just a coincidence |
