Cheers Nick - decided to buy from Caravanland nr Banbury in the end as they offered best deal and going to store it near daughter/Oxford CL we use most of time away so no need to tow it up and down anymore Cool Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

^^^ I agree with the fixed bed comment, it's great as the kids just sleep on a sofa each so no making beds up!

I was thinking of changing for a twin axle but the only difference in layout for me is a bigger bathroom at the back of the fixed bed which I still wouldn't fit in so I'll use the facility's instead Rolling with laughter

Nice purchase though Thumbs Up

£25k is a lot of money to drop on a tin tent. I hope you have better luck with this one than the last one with its warped panels Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Looked at the Adria but the glam doesn't have island bed and dealers few and far between - very nice finishes though Thumbs Up

Have had my cyclone 3.5 years and lost about £6k depreciation with about 5-6 weeks a year use so not bad I think - wish the RRS held money as well Big Cry

Also managed 10% discount off new van Cool Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

I bet they wouldn't if you used them every day like you do with a car... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Just checked figures and depreciation is £7700 - used it about 4 weeks 2010, 5-6 weeks pa 2011-13 and should be 2-3 weeks this year before swap so approx £350 per week away Confused

We stayed in cotswold water park self catering last year for a week and it cost £1400 and was awful so on balance I can live with £350 Cool

My last RRS lost about £5k pa and like my current caravan due to issues I couldn't sell it privately with a clear conscience or may have done better Sad

Actually got off lightly swmbo wanted one of these Shocked

How do you get on with twin axle vans these days as I understand more and more sites are turning away twin axles as they say they damage the ground to much.. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current
