I have gone with the Autobiography in white with black roof and ebony/lunar interior with the ebony morzine headlining.

The lighter exterior colors like white and silver make a real difference in the Texan summer heat.

Off to the dealers now to pick it up. Will post some pics tomorrow.

Interested to hear why you've chosen the Morzine and not Alston headlining.

Phil - Alston isn't an option in the US (I don't even know what it is/looks like). The only headlining options are Morzine in cirrus, ivory or ebony.

I'm curious to know the difference - I have Morzine in my Evoque, it's a finely woven fabric though I could never understand why LR charged Ģ250 for the black version but it's fit for purpose. On the RRS, the Alston headlinings - where it's a chargeable option are quite expensive, so I have no idea what this wonder-material is meant to provide. Mark

Alston has more of an Alcantara look to it.

Agree with the point about the exhausts. The aftermarket is going to have a field day.

Asked the question of Hawke today... and the aftermarket is not going to have such a field day with the exhaust tips....

This is the response from Hawke..... I seem to remember AdamRRs had the same thing done by Revere and now I know why.

"We're looking into a solution, but simple bolt on tips won't work as there is not enough pipe to get a good fit.

With our own L494 we have used our HAWKE 2010 Straight tips and taken them to an exhaust centre to have the back boxes removed and our tips used on the pipes that replace the back boxes.

You could look to do the same if you wish. It's a more intrusive process than just bolting-on, but the resulting look is great."

I will be going down this route and getting Hawke tips

Alston by the way... is fab... just finishes the car off inside beautifully and gives it a more plush feel and air of quality.

A great shame itīs not available in the US, surprised as well !! 2014.5 SDV6 AB Dynamic ... Fuji /Santorini Pan roof and 22's

I agree, the Alston is a more plush fabric than the tight woven Morzine. The Alston looks a bit like suede to me.....

I ordered Alston on my HSE, and it is gorgeous.... a "texture thing" really, however do feel slightly cheated in that also ordered the panoramic roof, resulting in much less Alston fabric compared the a full roof lining but at the same price if you follow my logic

Reminds me of a person over on the Evoque forum who thought a contrasting roof should be cheaper with the panoramic roof because there is then a smaller area to paint... Mark
