This keeps coming up! Shocked

Re the fuel pump symbol that is shown - someone pointed out to me over the weekend the arrow points to which side the fuel filler cap is. Apparently it's the standard for all cars so if you are new to a car or like my Mrs you always forget which side it's located on, the symbol saves you the time to get out and check! You learn something new every day eh?! Surprised

Beautiful car by the way Bow down

You know Land Rover are scraping the barrel when they go to the lengths of pointing this out as a feature. Mark

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Firenze Red

Believe me, you don't forget which side it is in a supercharged, they should put a TV screen in the back pillar to watch while you are stood there... another 88 litres yesterday afternoon, that was after putting 50 litres in the old classic in the morning.. 5.0 Ltr Superchrged RRS2, Chile Red, Sideways out of junctions!
TDV8 HST Stornaway on a 08.. remapped.. now gone and replaced, was a mighty fine car..
4.2 SC First Edition when they first came out, quick car!

LR are not saying this is a feature of their car. I am merely saying it is something that new cars of today have to show you which side the fuel cap is located. I was not aware of it and thought it was neat, but then again I am easily pleased Laughing

Mark: you really have it in for LR - your hatred for them is bordering on pathological... Whistle

LR have the same feature on the Evoque and make mention of it in the manual. I think most cars have their fillers on the right; the only one of mine which doesn't is my Ferrari and that doesn't have a reminder inside, so it can't be any good. Mark
