Last I heard from the factory was the InControl was for cars built during April onwards, and that no further delays are expected to this. 

ordered mine at the start of sept, was told mid-march build, mid april delivery though dealer thinks he may be able to shave a few weeks off that as of today

Incontrol will go in to production mid april apparently. Shame. I am not fussed about the tracker but am a bit worried about the connectivity it offered as apps might be a way of bringing the infotainment and satnav up a notch or two

Just to be clear, does anyone know if the inclusion of InControl will mean the whole infotainment system will be brought forward from the stone age?

Or are we saying things like slow motion sat nav and the like will still be a pain in our collective rears even after Incontrol? Current...

Heard today from my dealer that my car is here!!
Like Senna I'm having it delivered on the 28th as I think the dealer is going to be a little busy on the 1st!
The only thing is I have to tell my wife that we're getting a new car in a weeks time...........
Wonder how that's going to go down; only had the new Merc for nine months
( cant wait to get rid of it though! )

The whole infotainment system is due to be replaced, possibly MY2015, independently of InControl so I doubt InControl will impact on the current system at all. 

Ours is due to finish build on 24 March.

Has come forward once all ready so will see.

I grilled a dealer on this and his view was that since the RRS is barely 6 months in production, they are hardly likely to change it so early in the car's life. Better to keep things stable to meet the huge order backlog. With luck, we might see a bit of tweaking at the edges but a wholesale redesign seems unlikely until a mid-life refresh. Mark

Dealer said they could be dropping mine off on Thursday now as a lot of cars are being delivered on Friday so man power for Friday is getting stretched.

Obviously I have no problem with Thursday  Current...
