TPMS fitted?

Was there a TPMS system fitted as standard to the Range Rover sport supercharged or was it an option?

Blank buttons?

Surely its just the valves that need replaving with the reciever and extra software in the information display? I cant see no where to reset it after say carrying out a tyre change.. Are these different from the current Audi set up?

The TPMS button lights up when load is set to "light" - off when "heavy". You also get an alert when starting up. You change it by pressing the button during startup.
My 2009 RRS S/C came with it fitted. If you change tyres, you just drive it for 15min >80km/hr and it resets itself. I thought TPMS were manditor in the USA now days? I love them - can save a tyre and rim.

Just a note - there was a TSB about the valvestems corroding/breaking if used with a metal valve-cap. One of mine did - you can buy the tyre modules from the agents. It also has sensors in the wheel arches - a retro fit would have to consider those too - not sure if they are fitted standard or even if the wiring is in place.

Cheers
Reinhardt

TPMS is not standard on all but the latest 2014 cars as its now a European law or something.

My 2014 disco has it for free Mike

I hope the system works better than when I had a Laguna, as it was truly awfull, I had to keep taking it back to renault as it wouldnt stop going off, even when the tyres were the correct pressure, after being charged £25 and only getting a mile down the road before the alarm went off again, I had them taken out. 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater Smile)))
